Adding a shared mailbox
Close and Open Outlook before starting with the steeps below.
Note:
Complete these steps only if the shared mailbox does not automatically appear in Outlook.
1 Add a shared mailbbox
2 Modifying primary mailbox
3 Mailbox Properties
Click "More Settings" (Office 2020) or "Advanced Settings"
4 Advanced Properties
Click the "Advanced Tab" and then click "Add".
5 Add mailbox
Enter the full name of the mailbox including the domain name and click OK. Click "Next" and then "done" to close all dialogs. The shared mailbox will now show in the left pane of outlook.
6 Compose New Email
Compose a new email and click on "From", if the email address is not listed click on "other email address..."
7 Send email from shared mailbox
Enter the name of shared mailbox and select your primary mailbox under "send using". The shared mailbox will now be listed and can be selected next time you log in
